Kristi & Erich: Engaged

Ryan and I enjoy photographing engagement sessions because it is a great way to get know the couple better before their wedding day. We love to find out where each couple met and hear about their love story. This, hopefully, helps the couple to feel more comfortable with us on their special day and allows us to get a better understanding of the types of images they would like to have. Kristi indicated at our initial meeting that she likes fun portraits, and we found this to be true at the engagement session. We spent a great evening climbing trees, swinging, sharing icecream cones, and even riding in laundromat carts with this fun-loving couple. Kristi and Erich, thank you for a truly joyful session. We are looking forward to your beautiful wedding!

Sneak Peek

Just a quick little sneak peek of some images coming to the blog soon! This little guy Cole didn't want to sit down and pose at all so we just had to chase him around! And look at those eyes!

And I found this on a memory card and just had to share it! She is probably going to be mad at me someday for things like this. Oh well. Worth it!

Brandon & Abby: Engaged

"Abigail and Brandon have fallen in love, and as their adoration grew deeper, it was obvious that these two were meant to spend the rest of their lives together." This is printed on the fabulous wedding invitation I received in the mail today, and I thought it was the perfect description of Brandon and Abby's sweet love story. They are planning a meaningful ceremony at the home where Abby was raised, and we can't wait to spend the day celebrating with them. I know the day will be filled with their kindness, charm, wit, and style. For their engagement session, I planned a romantic summer picnic. Of course this meant that we ended up battling rain and wind for most of the session and even had to change locations. We have our fingers crossed for slightly better weather on their wedding day. Abby and Brandon, we are honored that you have chosen us to document this special time in your lives.

Korbin: 3 Years Old

We first had the opportunity to photograph Korbin at 18 months old, and we fell in love with him then. We were excited when his family contacted us to photograph him again just before his third birthday. He has grown up so much, but he still has the same contagious grin, soulful eyes, and adorable personality. Korb, you melt my heart!
