Finger Painting

Well , now that Liga is officially a stay at home Mom, her days are filled with trying to CONSTANTLY entertain our three young children Luke, Gavin, and Livija ( liv-ee-uh). They are all 14 months apart: ages 3, 2, and 10 months old. It is no easy task, but she is doing an amazing job! Luke and Gavin really like to do art projects like coloring, cutting with scissors, and painting. Finger painting is a bit of an undertaking with three youngsters like that. It requires large sheets of paper, a ready bucket of soapy water with rag, and an immediate bath following. I think these pictures will tell the story. Our breakfast nook is now wallpapered with their daily art project, and I couldn't be more proud of their talents!

At Last

The title of this post was supposed to be "Awaiting Evie", which is hardly appropriate at this point since our beautiful neice Evelyn is already a month old. So I thought "At last" would be more fitting, as Natalie and Rory have been patiently checking our blog for this post for two months.
At the time of this shoot, however, we were all anxiously awaiting the arrival of the newest member of our family, and Ryan and I had so much fun documenting such a joyful and exciting time for Natalie and Rory.
Natalie, Rory, and Evie, we love you, and we promise it won't take two months to post Evie's newborn pictures!

And since I am doing this after midnight, I guess that it is officially Rory's birthday. Happy Birthday Rory!

Grady

This time of year, I think that most photographers are busy with family sessions and kid sessions. Family photos make great gifts for grandparents or other family. We have done quite a few of them lately, and this one goes back into October. Kyle and I have been friends for a very long time - back to the days of John and Seth's apartment parties and Wellsville trips. When he called to ask if we could get together and take some family photos, we were thrilled to have the privilege. The location was Kyle's cousin's house, and they had so many different things to use. We thank them so much for letting us use their home to do the shoot. My favorite was the old Studebaker. I think it was Grady's too! Grady was such a wonderful subject, and so much fun to take pictures of. His red hair and deep blue eyes tell so much. Watch out Kyle and Tessa, he might have a bit of an ornery streak in him:) Wonder where that came from? We had a blast spending time with you guys. I hope we can do it again some time. Enjoy the holidays.

Kristi & Luke

I have worked with Kristi now for about 5.5 years at FRS Physical Therapy Clinic. When I first met Kristi, I couldn't help but love her infectious laugh and detailed stories. Over the years, she has become not only a fun co-worker to have around but someone I am truly grateful to call a friend. I have learned so much from Kristi and truly admire so many things about her, from her loyalty to friends and family to her unmatched organizational skills and zest for physical fitness and life in general. I only wish I could accomplish half of what Kristi can in a day. Needless to say, I was SUPER excited when Kristi decided her and Luke really needed some current pictures for their Christmas card. Rumor has it Luke wouldn't let her take one last year :). So we hatched a plan to go have a fun little photo session at Kristi's friend Jen's house (check back soon for Kyle and Jen's post). It ended up being a great location, and we are so grateful to Jen and her parents for letting us use their beautiful home. Kristi and Luke, Ryan and I had so much fun with you guys. One of the things I notice about your pictures is how comfortable you are together. Luke, I have personally witnessed the sparkle you have brought to Kristi's eye. You two are a perfect match! Thank you so much for letting Ryan and I capture these moments for you, and thank you for your patience awaiting this post. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
