Karisa and Joe

Look at this beautiful couple that we got to photograph and get to work with again tomorrow!   By the time that I am typing and posting this it will officially be Karisa and Joe's wedding day! This shoot was a little out of the ordinary and that made it a lot of fun.   We met Joe and Karisa up at Whipps Ledges for some hiking and to get to know the dogs before the big day.  The dogs were a blast to play with and hike with.  As you can see from the images, Joe and Karisa are awesome people to hang with which makes our job so much easier.  They are both so easygoing and easy to talk to that I almost forgot we were supposedly "working."  And I think I learned more about birds that day than I ever did in biology class thanks to Karisa.  After wandering around on the trails for awhile, we busted out the propane grill and had dinner at the park.  And wow can Joe make some burgers!  Liga and I had so much fun with you two and are glad to call you friends.  Hope all goes well today and can't wait to photograph the wedding.

Adam & Kristi Engagement

Ryan & I love shooting engagement sessions!  It gives us a chance to work with a couple in a laid-back atmosphere before the wedding day and for us all to get to know eachother better.  Getting to know clients is one of my favorite parts of this business. This session was no different even though Kristi is Ryan's cousin.  In a family as big as Ryan's, we often don't get to spend one-on-one time with many family members, and this was a great opportunity for us to get to hang out and have some fun!

We met up at the OARDC in Wooster, which was a fabulous place to shoot.  We can't wait to shoot there in June when everything is in full bloom.  I think Kristi and Adam have opted to have a "first look" before the ceremony.  We think this is a great chance for the bride and groom to get to see eachother in private before all the hustle and bustle of the day begins; a time to focus just on eachother.  It also provides a less hectic schedule for formal portraits and family pictures!

Adam & Kristi, we couldn't be more thrilled to be shooting your wedding.  I love all the details I have heard so far!  I hope you love your engagement pictures.  It was hard for me to pick my favorites.  You guys are just too cute!

Jessica & Jim

We shot Jessica and Jim's engagement/family session at Jessica's parent's home over 4th of July weekend. We did a few pictures with the whole family. We're hoping to spend some more time with Dylan, Logan, and Isabella soon. They were so adorable and well behaved. We were so excited to find a cute little pond, a quaint country lane, and a wheat field to experiment with all practically in their back yard. Jessica and Jim, thank you so much for your willingness to let us try so many poses and your patience with us. We're so excited for the wedding!
